Tomasz Koźluk is the Economic Counsellor to the OECD Chief Economist. In this capacity, he advises on strategic directions and heads the Department’s Front Office, leading a team of economists carrying out work for the G20, G7 and APEC, the OECD Economic Outlook and other topics. Previously, Tomasz held positions in the OECD supervising the work on structural policies and growth, economic effects of environmental policies and worked on competition, market regulation, environmental and energy policies as well as transport and infrastructure investment. He has (co-)authored several academic papers, working papers, G20 and G7 deliverables and Economic Surveys.
Before joining the OECD Tomasz has worked on various research projects at the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank, CASE, and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, EUI.
Tomasz holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence, an MA in International Economics from Sussex University and an MA from Warsaw University.
